Gil Santos made an intersesting observation during the game, noting that several of Brady's bad throws appeared to be intentional. In other words, the receiver was either covered, or, there was a defender that was about to make a break on the ball and likely would have intercepted it. He noticed that Brady was pulling back at the last second before releasing the ball.

Tom Brady could be shot by a deranged Jets fan tomorrow, and you'd find a way to claim that it wouldn't have happened if McDaniels had just called for more play action and fewer out patterns.
