Jimmy’s chart says it’s enough to move us up into pick 23-24 or so in the draft. Pick 77 enough to get to 25th-26th.

I’m starting to get onboard with the idea of going Hunter/Carter at 4 if available, then using one of those 3’s to move up and make sure we get our OT prospect before the well dries up.

It is a plausible strategy, no doubt... If you can find takers... we tried this last year and got shut out of trying to move back into the first...

If you want to work a deal like this, I strongly urge tptb to start the negotiations now...

I find it a difficult ask. That is supposedly where the strength of this draft is, late R1 and R2.

I personally thing you can get a starter this year at #69. Insert Gronk laugh track here.

Minnesota and LA looks good options as trade partners at 24 and 26. LA don’t have a 2 and the Vikes don’t pick again until the 4th currently.

Add in the fact that most evaluators say the pick 20-60 tier is pretty flat and they might easily want to move down. They might well think the player they can get at 38 is similar to 24/26 and they get an extra pick.

If we want our pick of tackles after Cambell and Banks, we'll have to jump the Texans at 25. The Vikings would make excellent trade partners picking just one before.
The Vikings notably are a team with no need at tackle with Darrisaw and O’Neill.

Exactly. Which would make them a good trade partner to jump the Texans who just traded Laremy Tunsil away.

I mocked that yesterday a couple of times but then the Steelers started taking Simmons at 21.

in that scenario, I'm still going Campbell at #4, and then jumping back into the first round to get WR Matthew Golden or (my binky) WR Isaiah Bond

We might not need to if this speculation about the Titans spending big on OL in the draft is to be believed:

Yet, this very much feels like table-setting to make Cam Ward the first pick. I'm sure the Titans have not bailed all the hay on that decision yet, and passing on elite non-QBs like Carter or Hunter can be dangerous business, unless they're sold on the idea that Ward can be a difference-maker. But they can't just march into 2025 with Will Levis and a scrap-heap veteran and expect to energize the fanbase after three straight losing seasons."

If the Titans go Ward with the first pick, it strongly increases the chances Shedeur goes top 3 in my view.

Now they just have to convince their fans that Cam is a "generational talent" lol

I'm only doing this if we land Carter/Hunter and it's for Josh Simmons.

My assumption is we are having to settle for Will Campbell and then I'm taking BPA the rest of the way.

at least, presuming that no one trades up higher than we do and picks our guy.
