Make your predictions for the over/under on Branch's stats for his 12 games as NEP this year.

I think, going back to the Patriot way, that he will have a decent amount of yards, and maybe not so many actual TDs, which will be okay, because they will be spread around to others.

700 yards receiving 5 touchdowns.

total for the season, including 4 games in SEA:

14g, 2gs, 37 receptions, 350yds 3TD.

I just don't think hes going to be a factor at all.

(And I like how the poll options are "probowler, or less")

How could anybody possibly make a prediction before they see him play in a Patriots uniform again?

Some of us have seen a bunch of Seattle games. Tom Brady is a much better QB than Hasselbeck, that but isn't going to change the fact that Deion Branch just isn't very good anymore.

Yeah. Might not be a very accurate or well informed one. But you can certainly make one.

Entire industries stem around making predictions with less info. E.g. see Mel Kipers entire existence.

I think the TD poll options are a little inflated, especially with all the weapons we have to distribute to.

Its a different system too. How do you know how many reps Branch will get? There are a lot of 2 WR 2 TE sets in the Patriots system right now, does Branch get on the field in those ahead of Tate?

What happens if the runs he wrong route or drops a ball in his first game. Do you think Brady is going to keep going his way?

I've seen 3 Seattle games by the way and he has looked better this year than previous years it has to be said.

30 catches, 350 yards, 3 tds.

Branch won't be more than the 3rd or 4th option on the offense. I think he will be valuable, but not a featured player.

Coming from consistently one of the most negative posters on this board when it comes to ANY patriots FO moves, this opinion means, just about nothing.

He breaks his leg his practice this week and is put on IR before he can teach our rookies how to properly hold out.

550 Yards and 3 TD's. Two more TD's in the playoffs and we will resign him at the end of the year. Well worth a 4th round pick when we stil have 7 other picks in the first four rounds. I hope he finishes his career a Patriot. He has always been one of my favorite players.

8 TDs or less

I think the majority of TD passes will be to TEs this season

I'd go with:

32 receptions
400 yards
4 touchdowns

Right, a little maths.....

We have three quarters of the season left, and Branch's best in a year was 78 receptions/998 yards/5 TD's. Take away a couple of hundered yards due to lack of explosiveness, and a bit more with him needing to find his feet - I say 45 receptions, 450 yards (roughly 38 yards a game) and 3 TD's.

Poll lesson #1: if you allow people to select every check box, they will.
