Re: Over/Under on Oneil/Hobbs Getting Roasted Monday Night
The Patriots gameplan is usually pretty straightforward (the devil is in the details):
1. Stop the run, don't let the other team dictate tempo
2. Get a lead, force the other team to play from behind
3. Make big defensive plays when they are forced to gamble
Say what you will about the defense, but they've done #1 with the exception of the nobody-has-ever-seen-this-formation-before Miami game.
#2 has been a problem. We need field goals, if nothing else. Must get points on every drive.
Only when #1 and #2 are done, do we get to #3. So far, no team has had any miraculous come-from-behind wins on us.
