Linebacker Justin Durant has been a pivotal piece in returning a putrid Dallas Cowboys defense to respectability this season.

Now the Cowboys will have to go on without him for the remainder of the season.

According to Charean Williams of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said following Monday night’s 20-17 overtime defeat to the Washington Redskins that Durant had suffered a torn biceps and will miss the remainder of the season.
