Bob Dorough, jazz musician probably best known as the musical genius behind Schoolhouse Rock, is dead at 94

"You'll wake up tomorrow, you'll be glad that I came. Because you'll be singing one of the songs that I sang..."

What an amazingly varied life, among other achievements he worked with Sugar Ray Robinson, was one of the few vocalists to record with Miles Davis and of course did School House Rock. A tip of the cap to a life well lived. RIP Mr Dorough

Nice memory, brings a smile..

@oldrover needs to post here so his schoolhouse rock-inspired sig can make an appearance....

Thanks, Bob, for all the great memories of growing up glued to the TV on Saturday mornings. Prayers that your eternal soul lives forever in heaven, in the name of the Father , the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

You were right, Bob... three IS a magic number.
