Bush is catching some balls but nothing really special. You can't say he is like Faulk because he hasn't done crap running it.

and faulk was great at both running and catching.

He also only averages 10 carries a game because they have another everydown back who makes a lot of money. If Bush got as many carries as Faulk did his rookie season based on his current averages he'd have 974 yards rushing, which I'd take from a rookie back every year wouldn't you? Also, the games where he didn't rush for a good average were when he barely ran the ball, his game log looks like this:

Cle: 15 for 67, 4.5 avg
GB: 6 for 5, .8 avg (note that N.O. got behind early this game.)
ATL: 13 for 53, 4.1 avg
CAR: 11 for 2.0, .2. avg
TB: 9 for 23, 2.6 avg

Interesting how his YPC goes up as he gets more carries. Maybe he just needs carries to get into a rhythm like many backs in the league.
