Harbaugh threw his equipment managers under the bus by saying, "they didn't know that the green dot rule applies in pre-season."

The rule has been on the books for a decade. The Ratbirds' DC and their LB coach aren't rookies.

Harbaugh is a lousy HC... he should know all aspects of the game and all its rules.

The equipment managers work in a chain of command, and the players who wear the green dot know the rules as well.

Difficult to hear excuses such as this for repeat offenders... The idea of any punishment to be progressive and correct behavior, obviously for the Ratbirds fines have not had an impact.
