Sports fans tired of the heavy ad loads typically aired during NFL matchups, will get a welcome break on Dec. 23 when NBCUniversal’s streaming service Peacock will stream with Buffalo Bills–Los Angeles Charger game with an ad free fourth quarter, a first for the NFL.

Always said that if they are serious about expanding internationally, they have to fix the television product for international audiences unaccustomed to the constant bombardment of advertising in the NFL versus the comparatively ad-free experience on various football/futbol/fussball/soccer leagues around. Even Americans might come around on it.

When I can't use the terrible Youtube stream, I usually start the game an hour or so after kickoff so I can blaze through commercials.
