Nope. No chance. Their defense has improved over the gutter it was in during the first quarter of the season, but they’re still not good. They need to blitz in order to generate any pressure. We’d torch them.Does anyone see that defense limiting us to 10 points in non- inclement weather?
Not really a fair comparison. Mahomes was believed to be the "baby goat" just last year before Brady and the Bucs curb stomped them. His play has dropped off a ton and we were mentioning that with regards to Brady in 2014 so I think it is more to fair to question what is going on and if they are going to be able to have the same success as last year. All I know is if the Patriots were winning games in the same manner, we would all be saying "wins are wins" and chastising anyone who criticized the way those wins happened.
He's thrown some incredibly stupid interceptions this year. The numbers still aren't bad (26 PPG) , but obviously there is a drop off.
I don't think Mahomes is the problem. He has no running game with two excellent weapons, but only two.
Not coincidentally this streak also coincides mostly with the loss of Sammy Watkins.
Does he? I see his guys open all over the field. His inaccuracy problems and poor decision making have been eye popping this year.Should this be in the nfl forum.
Anyways Mahomes needs a 3rd pass catcher

They have Hardman, Pringle, Robinson and Gordon. For sure it is a drop off after Hill and Kelce but that would be true of any position players given how good those 2 are. They also have CEH in the run and pass game. When I watch their offense, I don't see guys being blanketed every down. Rarely actually. What I see are guys typically open in the flat or on slants and Mahomes just isn't seeing them or he is inaccurate. His pocket presence has been so awful this year. It is almost like the SB game is stuck in his head like a broken record and he just can't stop bailing even when the protection is fine.Who's the guy after Hill and Kelce? I forget who they used to have but isn't it a big dropoff
I agree. I think it will be our toughest game though as Mahomes does tend to get hot against us especially in the second half. I also think it is a game where Mac hopefully comes of age and leads the team to victory in a close fourth quarter.I think NE is going to meet KC in the playoffs....and it will be at Gillette.
Bill will once again slow down their offense. Chiefs will probably makes a late push/scare as they always do, but NE ends their season.
As we've seen with many teams, they get exhausted defending the track meet. They key is score while your D is holding them down. If you allow them to stay in the game, they will catch on and make the late game push as they’ve done to many teams in the past.I agree. By us do you mean the Pats or Tompa Bay?I agree. I think it will be our toughest game though as Mahomes does tend to get hot against us especially in the second half. I also think it is a game where Mac hopefully comes of age and leads the team to victory in a close fourth quarter.
The run game is very good but the pass game is not nearly as potent which won us the 2018 AFC championship game. I hope if this matchup does happen that Jones has a coming of age game and is able to win it for us in the 4th quarter. As we've seen with many teams, they get exhausted defending the track meet. Pats have a more powerful ground game than they did in 2018.
Googley MoogleyThat's great...but who are the Chefs?
Would'nt say he sucked against LVMahomes has sucked the last 5 games despite winning them all
