This defensive scheme seems like they’re trying to lose. Washington can’t run on them, they have a bottom feeder offense, and yet the QB finds wide open receivers due to a “zone” where the linebackers and defensive backs are constantly bewildered about assignments. How can you be playing in January and look like a unit that’s never implemented a basic zone coverage. They’ve literally run the same thing all season and last season.
