Bucs are going to lose some pieces too in FA, which is going to help
Maybe but the Pats need a lot of things to go right this offseason to be able to hang with the top teams in this league next season. The difference between Buffalo and us right now is like night and day.

Hopefully it does.

"2015 Peyton Manning won a title"

Actually, the 2015 Broncos carried the corpse of a hall of fame quarterback to a title. Had he started all of those games, that team doesn't even make the playoffs. I'm not sure I recall a team that won a SB having to overcome such terrible QB play in my life. If you've seriously come so far as to use that as your argument for Brady "needing to prove he can win with another team" you're a certified moron.

Manning also led the Broncos to a super bowl appearance after having an MVP year. Point is that those QBs I've cited (Manning, Warner, Favre, and Montana) took their new teams deep into the playoffs.

Like who? Idk about that. I see them keeping Godwin. I don’t think the cap will be 174 or 176. I think it will be a little higher.

You have no point. You are all over the map with your random opinions. Now manning gets credit for losing a Superbowl but if Brady loses it's bust. Maybe BB can put on the ol' pads and step in at QB.

That would probably be an improvement over our QBs in 2020.

Can we move away from the Brady vs. Belichick discussion in this thread? There's literally another thread with that as the subject matter. I'd rather focus this thread on discussing Brady and the Bucs, who have a playoff game upcoming that would be interesting to discuss.

No, you're just slow. Manning is not heralded as the GOAT, whereas Brady is. Manning being 2-2 or 2-3 in the SBs isn't going to make much of a difference. If Brady loses another, he'd be a lot closer to being .500 in the big game, which for some people may be an issue as far as his legacy.

Jesus, he will have been in 10 Superbowls. Are you an idi....nevermind

Only for the likes of the Max Kellermans and Nick Wrights of the media

Shaq Barrett, Fournette, Gronk, Brown, Suh, and David will all be free agents to name a few

If the SB was some game that everyone played once a year you'd have a minor point. You have TO GET THERE!!!!!!! You don't just APPEAR IN THE SB!!! You need to battle through the playoffs and GET THERE!!!

I said it will be an issue for SOME. I didn't say me necessarily. Who's the idiot again who can't read?

I don't think it's all gravy for Brady - he probably has to at least win this Washington game and play well in the playoffs to truly dispel doubters (at least in the near-term...time tends to give people more perspective). Obviously if he wins it all, might as well throw away the debate.

Regardless, to me his physical standard of play this year was more than enough to show that his qualities are highly portable to other teams.

Some people would perceive it that way, others would point to the unblemished 4-0 Montana record. A super bowl loss is a big knock on any QB.
This post does it. The trolling is out of control. How this buffoon hasn't been banned from this thread is beyond me.

Manning was certainly derided for his poor performance in SB 48, and no one here gave him any credit for reaching the Super Bowl. The reality is no one gets credit for being a runner up in this world.

They can sign a couple of those guys. They will lose some but they’re in better cap shape than the saints.
