Yes, I do see us beating the Dolphins. The Bills have elevated and it will be harder. BUT--we have a lot of young talent. A lot of salary cap space. But there are opportunities there to grab a good veteran QB--and I'm betting it's Garoppolo.
I am not against Garoppolo but if it’s him you better have a good backup because the probability is that he will play more than Jimmy

Why would you be for JAG if what you postulate was true?
Pay pics to trade for a starting QB who will play less than 8 games per season? Insanity.

Given the salary cap situation, there is no way the Patriots finish 3rd. This team is about to retool.
I wouldn’t say that either. We’re going to attempt to address the issues. We will find out next season whether or not we were successful.

Brady should have just responded with this picture.

That's obviously fake. He needs to use both hands for it to be real.

NYFL fields are littered with rotting carcasses and skeletons of B&B victims. I couldn't care less what any of their remnants think now.

Bad timing for us. The year after Brady leaves, the Patriots finally get formidable competition in the AFC East.

Let’s face it they haven’t had much of it for the last two decades and that has helped a lot.

Bill doesn’t sucks as a coach is the best. I think he is not that good as a GM. The debate is more Brady vs BB GM not BB HC.

we think Bill is a good GM because of the winning seasons. But a lot of NE teams over the last 20 years were not that good and we’re winning teams solely because of Brady’s play.

if you just take the teams between 2009-2014. 3-4 times we don’t make the playoffs if we don’t have Brady.

the idea that Bill has build incredible teams over the past 20 years is crazy too me. He often build average to good team that were carried by Brady.

Nah, I disagree. I believe BB built his rosters and managed the cap the way he has because he had Brady. He built it to have a shot at the big game every season. The depth he built and some of his free agent signings were simply home runs.

I'll agree that his recent drafts haven't panned out that well, although the last couple seem to be producing some starting talent, but when you put all of the traits necessary to be a great GM BB checks most all of the boxes.

I don’t think he will do nothing but it will be a lot harder than what most thinks.

right now we are projected to have around 70M in cap space. You can probably remove 20M for a good veteran QB. We have like 10 of our own free agent. You can count in my mind 10-20M if not more to resign some of them. You can get back some trading Gilmore. You are already around 40-50M left. And you don’t have really improved your team yet.

Rumored was that High was gonna retired. There is a non null probability that the McCourty will retire too.

so you need front 7, LB, WR, TE.

Maybe I’m pessimistic but I don’t see top free agent wanting to come to NE with the team in this state. Even if a guy like Goodwin would want to come here it will cost at least 15M a year. With so many holes I don’t it is necessarily the right move to break the bank this year. I think we are two years away.
We have 22 UFAs.

If we have Jimmy, we better have a starting caliber back up.

Maybe it will be back to September 2016 again. Jimmy and Jacoby. Dunno how I feel about that but hey at least we have a passing game again I guess

Basically we are getting from Cam what we got from Brisket in 2016

Peter King had a comment on this game in his “10 things I think” at the time. “The Patriots should be ashamed of themselves” LOL

If Tampa can secure the 5th seed they will play a NFC east team in the WC if they can’t beat this team, they don’t deserve to be in the playoffs.

Tampa has seen every playoff team except SEA and I think they could score on them. The only team I am really concerned about is NO.

Because of the NFC east I almost think they should re-do the playoff seeding somehow. There's no reason a team with a losing record should have a home game while a winning team has to play on the road or miss the playoffs because they are in a good division

Peter Queen should be ashamed of himself...Haven't read his fishwrap-worthy drivel in 13 years...Don't drink coffee or snobby beers either...

How about egotistical Tom Brady's sick response to a comment made by Tony Dungy. Tom's reference wasn't even when Dungy wasn't there. Typical Tom

Ya no team should concern them but NO who are career chokers in January. As you said if they can get the 5th seed they get Washington first than most likely Seattle. That’s the best road for them to take and if there’s no upsets NO goes to GB

With the Saints win today it’s the first time a Brady led team will not win their division since 2002.

Might not be the worst thing for them seeding wise.

Nope. That likely gives them whoever the hell wins the NFC LEast in the WC.
