They do? Blew out the 8-2 Packers and blew out the 6-3 Raiders on the road. They have showed plenty. They just have not been consistent enough and the Saints have their number although now with Brees sidelined that could change.

I get what you mean about the records but those records ARE in his legacy. We really don't get that because Brady has all the rings so stats really don't mean anything but for Brees with his one ring and zero league MVPs, they mean everything to him. I am not saying he should come back because of them but they are not dumb to him.

If they can win these next 2 home games which will be tough - Rams and Chiefs - then they have the bye and a really easy last 4 games. They could run the table or split the next 2 games and finish 12-4.

Unless there’s a severe Jameis meltdown, they’ll be fine. They’ll probably score more points overall and the only question is how many turnovers that costs. Brees is the best option there with his short precision and limited errors, but his age and injuries also prevents them from piling on 40+ points each week with a completely stacked offense.
