OT: Odell Beckham

It seems like the NYJFL is getting worse with each game.

Time after time I see combinations of truly boneheaded plays, very dirty plays and raunchy antics that I have to hope that my granddaughter doesn't see if she's watching a game with me.

It makes me appreciate what we have here even more and will make it that much easier to dump it all when Tom Brady leaves.

Yeah because he performed like a professional not an immature diva who cares to much about his status in the offseason CB rankings.

Norman makes me like Sherman... At least Sherman is intelligent and actually an elite CB.

Norman is one of those people who can do things when the camera is not on them and gets away with it. When you react, you tend to look like Dez and OBJ.

I just watched the highlights (or shall we say, lowlights) of the Norman-Beckham Jr matchup and IMO this was just the latest example of the officials totally mismanaging the game by allowing these two to stay in the game till the end. Truth be told, any competent official would have thrown both of them out when their antics were manifest.

In their defense, the refs were stepping in between them pretty aggressively on almost every play, calling penalties too to try to turn down the heat.

I can't believe people are defending beckham. The guy pulled a tj ward at Normans head when he wasn't looking. If someone did that to any of our guys there would be a meltdown for the ages with torches and pitchforks on this board.

HOLY CRAP!!! Did you hear Dion and LT on the NFLN highlights show??? Defending OBJ's actions? I understand it takes 2, but there should have been some kind of "in game discipline" to both players (besides a flag). I just find it a little hypocritical for the MFL FO to bloviate about player safety, but then allow it that continue throughout the game. I personally don't have a big issue with it, it's just the calls for less known players would ejected. IDK, maybe I'm just starting to hate Beckham? Yea. I'm pretty sure that's it.

it's entirely because he plays in the new york market and they like him. OBJ acted like a punk and stepped over the line several times today but Dion and LT like him so they are going to pin everything on Josh Norman.

I like ODB Jr, and when I originally heard there were numerous altercations with Norman, my original thought was to blame it on Norman....

But I just seen the cheap helmet to helmet shot ODB put on Norman after the play. If that doesn't warrant a suspension, I don't know what will.

For the record I don't know you so I am not saying you are, the comment just sounds like something I remember kids saying in high school when asked about other guys.

As for why it is a big deal, well Brady, Edelman, and Amendola are considered some of the best looking guys in the NFL so it has become a stat around here as a result.

The game officials don't want to influence the outcome of games this late in the season. They leave that up to Dean Blandino and the rest of the NYJFL.

One other thing that bothers me with this Beckham character is the way his one handed catch is being shown as one of the GOAT highlights of the NFL but Gronk's similar one handed catch a week or two before is totally ignored.

Tom Coughlin ended his career on Sunday by not benching Beckham for being so out of control. The referees should be suspended as well for not tossing Beckham from the game.
