I get suggested his shorts quite often on YouTube form his current podcast and all I've heard is some decent commentary on things. Granted, a small sample, but eh.

That being said, TV is the demon which perverts a lot of commentary as there is a fundamental contradiction in the goal of network TV (sensationalism as aeams to encourage viewers) and the goal of good commentary (to be accurate, provide unique insight, and attempt to clarify what the watcher can't).
