Finally got around to watching the Mandalorian the other day, the storyline and writing is crap but ILM's next-gen stagecraft is ****ing ridiculous.. absolutely sick.

Can't imagine what kind of processing power they are using now to render all those effects.. basically AI at work doing the compositing and rendering.

In a few years, actors are just going to do everything in-studio or on soundstages.
