AP was #7 overall; many were surprised he even lasted that long.

LoMo was a #21 overall pick, and not even in the same draft.

With the full benefit of 20-20 hindsight I'll completely agree that the Pats should have taken Greg Jennings and Maurice Jones-Drew rather than Maroney and Chad Jackson, but I don't see how the Pats could have ever drafted AP.

Besides, things here wouldn't be much different if AP was a Pat since the board would be full of threads petitioning to cut him due to his fumbles.
