That and the "don't touch her" scene are vicious. But I have another, better, and more vicious beating in a Scorscese movie. That would be the final scene in "Casino" where they beat Joe Pesci and his brother Dominic half to death with baseball bats and then bury then alive. Just f'n BRUTAL.

Not as good as 'Fellas but still a good flick. Don't do it, Frankie.....Hes still breathing.....Don't do it....Please........WHAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anybody out there a Godfather aficinado? When Stracci, Cuneo, Barzini, Tatagglia , Carlo Rizzo and Mo Greene gets me fired up!!!

I'm 23 so yeah, definitely. But my dad was a Marine who served there and I have a few uncles that were in the Army and Navy that were there as well. When I thought of that scene and drew parallels to this Pats team with the game this Sunday, I thought that more or less the Pats resembled the choppers coming in there to that tune (can't remember the name of it right now), blowing the hell out of the Vietnamese town that would resemble the Bucs.

No prob...i guess that scene just means something different to me...most (not all) of the villagers they kill are women and children--so they can surf...the movie is truly great and that scene is one of its most powerful, i'll grant you that, but for different reasons...let's just let it rest here, i'm sure there are plenty of other places on the web we can discuss that War...

Not a bug Kurt Russell fan but he was oustanding as Herb Brooks..
