With the onset of his dementia, we tend to forget what a formidable man he was.

I watched a top 10 TE's of all time show on NFLN the other day. They ranked him #1 all time, beating out the best the league has ever seen.

hard to believe...saw him in his prime...back in those days concussions weren't even diagnosed,I don't think...just "got his bell rung" and send 'em back in there...man,John had great hands...he was THE prototype
