OT Jete release Le'Veon Bell

Could be another Belichick salvage project. Sign him to an incentive laden, no risk contract.
With it being mid season it makes some sense for Bell. Considering his somewhat malcontent reputation he probably won't get another big contract this same season, but playing a little more than half a year in NE and playing well will line him up for another potential payday by this coming March.

Pats would pay less but are very well equipped for him to have success that translates into a new contract in 5 months.

The Pats were apparently interested in Shady after the Bills released him at final cut-downs last year, so I'd never say never....but I'd be surprised if they tried to sign him.

Me first guy, it seems.

Would be shocked if he comes here. I’d bet he goes back to Pitt.

Would be shocked if Pitt takes him back.

Remember, he sat out a whole year rather than play for them.

His return would make pretty much everyone there unhappy, both players and management.

They'd be rewarding a quitter.

I'd bring him in, no question... Guy was on his way to Canton until he crash landed in the swamps of Jersey... probably no offset in his contract, might get him for a song for a year or two... Besides bell signing in new England would go right up the arse crack of every jete and stealer fan - that alone makes it worth it

It'll be interesting to see where he ends up. He is now a two time malcontent. Rumor had it he let himself go during the off season, coaches saying he lost a step. I'm having a hard time seeing him land here. It's not like he has a huge up side like AB. He's a 28 year old RB who is in it for the money, not the kind of guy we look for, and we're not the kind of team he looks for.

Would it really be rewarding him if they got him for cheap? It reminds me of Blount shooting his way out of Pittsburgh and ending up back here and even more productive than the first stint.

Last time be ran for 20 yards on a carry was 2017. 30 yards was 2016.

I've always felt like he was overrated but he'd be an upgrade over Sony and probably Damien too, though we need to see more from him before we can be sure.

Doubt it, their running game is actually solid with Ronald Jones...

he can’t catch and he’s average put an elite pass catching RB and there literally unstoppable. Also I think Ariana loves 3 down backs which Jones isn’t and has tried to replace him since he got there

So some of y’all not know how bad Gase is look at Kenyon Drake he was on his way to the CFL cause of Gase. Look at Robby Anderson

I'd do it, if you are gonna lean on the run might as well have loaded depth there.

Also jest and Gase are idiots. I'd trust Bill & Josh to get something out of Bell if there was anything left
