Jax and Meyers are good fits for each other. Lawrence may be overrated, but he’s the best QB Meyers has had since Brady, and Meyers will get a ton of targets.

The move is otherwise inconsequential. Jags will be fighting with the Chargers and Ravens for one spot. The odds are not in their favor.

Meyers will get a ton of targets because their top 3 WRs are all out injured.

This is sort of sour grapes. He’s been a very productive WR in Josh McDaniels offensives with far less talented QB than Drake. I would have turned backflips to see him back here.

Agree the price may have gotten too high. Be delighted to see him back here next year after the Jaguars figure out the problem isn’t WR talent

I agree with this. We have one guy who is a designated blocker, another guy who runs fast...directly into opposing defensive players, and a couple of stray cats. I am more hopeful re WR's, though a couple are a little on the grizzled side.

I think there is still work to be done on the O-line as well, of course, but then that can be said of most teams: mean, athletic, fat guys being rare as hen's teeth.
