It's really not fair to blame this latest blunder on the Jets organization. Woody had attempted to get their only true star Revis to announce the draft pick. Sources said Woody made several attempts to contact Revis. The source claims Woody used the words and I quote "Darrelle don't forget all the cupcakes we baked for you!" It has been confirmed Woody was actually trying to reach Revis on the burner phone that has long since been discarded by the former superstar cornerback. In Woody's defense he hasn't had to call Revis by cell phone since Darrelle was a member of the Patriots.
