If it’s a Republican, we need to make war on the storm and drain it of all its natural resources for no reason whatsoever. American lives be damned. Granted I’m a lowly businessman with no background in meteorology, but where are they getting that this thing is supposed to turn? To my untrained eye, it’s barreling right at South Florida with no indication whatsoever that it’s turning north.

Granted I’m a lowly businessman with no background in meteorology, but where are they getting that this thing is supposed to turn? To my untrained eye, it’s barreling right at South Florida with no indication whatsoever that it’s turning north.

They claim they are waiting for a trough to develop across the south US states that will push it north. They say it's a waiting game. For now there isn't anything pushing it so its basically stalled. I agree its nerve racking to see it headed right to WPB.
