Thanks for the great column! http://www.patsfans.com/kevin/display_story.php?story_id=3023

I've printed it off for every aspiring anything in my life, the aspiring songwriter/wildlife biologist I'm married to, the 14 year old aspiring football player who is the bane of my existence, the 5 year old aspiring Pokemon Trainer (although he may have to wait a bit to read it, and hopefully when he can, he'll have bigger aspirations) and so forth.

Bookmark it, print it, share it. Great stuff.

Thank you.

I have tried to read that article seven times, but I keep getting caught up in the cleavage of the sportsbet girl.

I would have read your reply but this distracted me:

Dang, I knew I should have clicked on that link before this, except I thought it was going to be another mea culpa after picking the Bengals or something.

Great piece Kevin, best wishes on the journey!

Hi-jackers begone! This is a good read, go drool over the Cheerleader thread, get it out of your system, and try reading it again.

We need a disgusted head-shaking smilie.

haha, sorry about that... that was just... yeah, whoa.

Um no, but really, I do plan to give the article a read when I get home from work. But those jugglies, those were a quicker fix while watching the clock tick by .

I meant to start a thread on this yesterday, but got bogged down in the swamp with the other extreme of the media community.

Kevin is consistently one of the most thoughtful writers out there. Not only was that column fabulous and moving, but the linked column from October 2004 about his best week ever was just outstanding.

(I also really enjoy Mrs. Rousseau's annual column - - she's got a GREAT sense of humor!)

Thank you, Kevin.

Bump from page 3 for those that might have missed this great read.

Edit: 'course, I probably should bump it at a decent hour, not in the middle of the night.

Thanks T for bringing this to my attention, it was a good read. In fact, it was better than that.

It's easy to upload into the vBulletin system, if Ian or whoever else who has that power wants to add it.
