True GB didnt get the first, still though... they're tried to get a TD and score more points instead of taking the FG!

It's hilarious the Oakland Raiders have a better record at this junction of the season than the Dallas Cowboys.

Perhaps Belichick was a trend setter.

A couple years later and the rest of the NFL is now figuring out that adding three more meaningless points is not as "classy" as running another play from scrimmage in which the opponent has an opportunity to stop you.

Oh yeah, and it takes more time off the clock, which is what you as the team with the lead is most interested in - and something that no announcers or columnists have figured out.
