Sure, we’ve taken fliers on less. He’s obviously a hard working football player who is used to overcoming adversity. I think that consideration is often given to those kinds of players, obviously depending on evaluations of overall talent.
Why are people talking about Griffin’s hand like he just lost it yesterday? The guy has years, YEARS of tape to study. Guess what, he is missing a hand in all of them! What is going to change at the NFL level from the collegiate level? Competition gets better? Guys run harder and faster? Whelp, most of ‘em don’t tackle with their hands anyways, and I’ve seen this dude actually pick of passes. He’s the real deal, and whatever team gets ‘em, is going to love the results they get.
