OT:Chris Berman supposedly "retiring" from ESPN after 2016

WGN would be a step down for him since that is a station based out of Chicago. And WGN America, the cable station that is national has no sports presence other than broadcasting Cubs/White Sox games, so still a step down.

well yeah. anything would be a step down, right? maybe Chris has interest in doing the Cubs games for GN?

Of course if the sexual harassment stories are true its terrible but overall I have no issue with Berman. He was even-keeled re: the Pats and BB seems to think hes OK.

If Berman did retire he needs to do two things:

1. Work on his golf game. Outside of Charles Barkley he has the worst golf swing I've ever seen.
2. Lose weight. He looks like a slob out on the golf course.

Not with Len Kasper over there having just signed a 5 year contract. Why would he go to a TV station in the #3 market after being the principal person on the "Worldwide Leader"? Usually the point is to either upgrade or get something similar.

Couple of years ago Berman was announcing the US Open at Merion, and he got all f..ed up with the baskets they use there instead of the flags.. he kept on ****ting himself with idiotic babble about the pin placement and some other crap, that was completely unconnected to that tournament..
