PFT did a good job discussing this whole thing and i agree with them.

I also think Tiki is an arrogant jerkoff who wants more attention than he deserves. Why in the hell would he announce that he is going to retire before the season is even halfway through?
What is the point of that?
What good can come out of this, besides a few early football analyst or commentary job offers?

I don't like Irvin, Salisbury, "Jaws", TJ, Merril Hodge (******), and Stuart Scott.

I also don't like Trey Wingo and The "professor" John Clayton.

Hopefully he joins ESPN, then there will be one channel i know i should always avoid.

I'm with Tiki here. He is a very intelligent guy not just about football but on other more worldly matters. It's extremely refreshing to see this type of guy have the success he's had. I don't think he's arrogant at all. Jackson and Irvin trump tiki on that account all the time.

Irvin will but we won't understand what he's trying to say. TJ will sit back with a smug look on his face and shut up until the whole thing plays out. If he's proven to be right, we'll never hear the end of it if he's wrong...well we already know what he'll do.

I think Tiki is one of the classiest players in the league today. It's plain that football is not everything to him and he has other desires as well. I like that he's not willing to take on TJ and Irvin, those two morons deserve to get called out. The don't know him yet they presume to blast him and calling him a distraction. Give me a break.

Tiki, you're the man, and I wish you the best.

P.S. To Keegs: I think he did it to let the Giants get ready to fill his void next season? Tiki is the reason why the Giants' offense can roll over other teams and if he is to announce it in the offseason he would really put the Giants in a pinch to replace him. Just my opinion.
