I would offer them a 4th, but I would go as high as Atlanta’s 3rd if push came to shove. It would address WR and free them up to focus on other needs. Plus his contract would come off the books in 2 years, which would free that money up for free agency at a good time.

Yep, I was a little hesitant, but like the freedom it would give them to make other moves. And I like the fact that his contract would come off the books in a couple of seasons. Freeing up a nice chunk of cap space for them. They should structure the deals for veterans to get out of them after 2 seasons to free up as much cap space as possible then, because that should be when they are truly starting to contend for a championship, and they will need to make key moves then.

Yep. I would hope they continue to add WR talent whether it's via the draft or FA.

As you say they might need to give him a couple more years as he is an FA after this upcoming season.

But by getting Samuel they would not go after Higgins (who I would not pay through the roof for).

If it costs more than a conditional sixth that could go to a fifth or even a fourth based on production to get him then I would pass. He would also have to redo his contract because, even though his base is extremely low, his per game bonuses over the next two years could net him about $14 million a year.

It is nothing for a reliable WR. The problem is Deebo is not the guy he used to be. He disappeared for much of the season this year. Barely worth even playing.

Wouldn't have mattered if he was as good as he used to be or another NKeal Harry. This team was rebuilding regardless.

NKeal Harry is now ripping it up and doing great in the NFL since he left that bad coaching staff

It is nothing for a reliable WR. The problem is Deebo is not the guy he used to be. He disappeared for much of the season this year. Barely worth even playing.

The injuries have affected his game. Guy was being used as RB, slot, out wide.. it takes a toll on his body.
