I will say, I agree with you on that. Tate ran a little 5 yard curl or a go route pretty much all of last season. And a lot of his catches were on broken plays where Clausen was scrambling and Tate would just run across the middle and freelance. Everyone talks about him knowing our offensive system, but it didn't appear that he ran that many routes. Too many short button hooks.
