ED REED , without a doubt.

Belichick coaching that guy would be just creepy. I can't imagine how good he would be on the pats with our line, coaching, and leadership.
You dont want Reed honestly he's not as good as Polamalu is.

Seriously i'm not joking.

1. Julius Peppers: switch to 4-3, fill in everything else later
2. Walter Jones: frees up TEs, protects franchise Qb
3. Rashean Mathis: younger than Bailey, taller than Hall, good ball skills.

it seems like most people would like ither Troy Polamalu, or Merriman

Champ, definitely. Rashean Mathis has been ripped a new ass the last few weeks, way overrated PonyE.

Mathis wasnt ripped. it was Williams

I'd want Peyton Manning - and make him Brady's backup!

1)it would be fun to watch him stew on the bench and all his numbers would decline in relative impressiveness.

2)we would have a great backup if brady ever got hurt.

3)we'd never have to face him again.

see, ya gotta think people!

or how about Deion Branch? - he'd be perfect on our team!

but seriously, I'd say:
shawn merriman or champ bailey

The overrated one is Bailey. He was never that good in Washington, and as late as 2004 he was dreadful, abused, a running joke. Bailey had a good year last year, but a lot of hype in his favor comes out of Denver through the Shanahan propaganda machine, mainly because Shanahan is burning to justify the trade of Clinton Portis in order to retain his "genius" label. Mathis is excellent now and going to get better and under BB he would be a HOF cb.

We don't even know yet how durable Merriman is. He apparently is limping around right now with an Achilles injury. No way should we elevate Merriman until he at least lasts a full season as a starter...

DeAngelo Hall or Dunta Robinson at CB
Vilma at LB
Pace at LT so that we could move Light to his more natural RT

Hines Ward
Ty Law

ummmm yeah he is actually.

I know you think his hair is cool and all, but I think Reed is just as good, if not better.
