Green did our superbowl in '04.

However he is known as a home referee. Home game win rate is 80%, in top 5.

Carey, who did our game last week, has a home win rate of 100%

That can't be right. Where are you getting these numbers from?

I do not like this. Just no BS PI calls and that is a start.

OH god!!! THe dreadful PI calls. I just see them coming. Hope our pass rush help out a bit on that at least. and I hope I dont have too many things to throw at my TV as well

I hate PI calls like the one on Ellis Hobbs in this game YouTube - Patriots vs Colts (week 9 from the 07 season) Hobbs just had his body in perfect position!

YouTube - Week 9 - Indianapolis Colts 18-15 New England Patriots

Last years game. The 15 yard personal foul call which cost the game, and the robbing of a two point conversion.

In the 2007 game, that Hobbs penalty was a joke. It also seemed like we always were called for redzone holding to back us up.

when you have a proven vet like Reggie Wayne going up against rookie Darius Butler on a closely contested pass play, it's gonna be called for PI especially on the home turf. I am already preparing myself for this reality so I don't break my TV Sunday night.

Reggie tends to line up on Leigh Bodden's side on the majority of the snaps from the colts game I've seen the past few years.

Seems like excuses are coming already.

One of the Pats posters here said it right, Good teams overcome bad calls.

O.k. we are only talking through week 5 which makes much more sense. Small sample size. If anything this is a good thing then as there will be some regression to the mean. In other words, he's due.

Regression to mean doesn't really apply to, once again, small sample size. Theoretically, he should be just as likely to call a home win as ever, regardless of the last few weeks. It *might* mean that he's under some more league scrutiny, but I doubt that that's even the case. Either way, no sense in really worrying about it IMO.

why are you here?

He listed an officiating concern..... Don't worry.... I am still Very Confident the Patriots will Beat Indy

If only statistics worked that way...

I have a relative who is convinced that that law of averages lets you win at roulette, because whatever color didn't come up last time must be more likely to come up this time to even things out.
