I think this was the plan all along. I said so earlier in the week. Bill split the reps halfway between both guys and told them both to be ready. Then he goes into the game and plays both guys a half each against the same opponent and can compare the results. They got the same amount of reps and the opponent was the same, so all things are equal. If the offense looks way better with one guy than the other in the same game then that should determine the starter the rest of the season going forward. And I think he did this for Kraft.
This is one of the two worst offenses in the league along with ours. I wouldn't call sacking a third string QB on the second worst defense in the league a major feat.
