I mean, Maye missed 2 TDs in the low red zone today. Wide open. Missed Henry, wide open, probably another TD. Overthrew Douglas by a lot more than what it looked like on TV, another easy TD.

I dunno, man. Giving up draft capital for something that's not a pressing need doesn't seem like a great idea to me.
Not saying trade for one right now. I want them to trade for an A+ edge guy on Tuesday. I'm saying in FA/Draft time.

Curious thing about Pop. Twice now, when he's caught long balls he then proceeds to stumble all over the field. He stumbled three times after the catch on the 58 yarder today. There was a play similar to that earlier in the year. What's that about?
If he has to jump to catch the ball he sometimes comes down off balance, he starts running while trying to regain his balance.

Not going to disagree, but there are almost no quick hitters underneath either. Quick throws can make your OL look real good.
Far too many long developing route concepts.
Why not throw quick hitters to Williams or Chism ?

Maye had an ok game. Even the best QB's ever aren't going to play great every single week. Some of the sacks were on him. But the OL does need an upgrade in the offseason.
Both of these things can be true at the same time, yes.

Mike Onwenu needs a ticket out of Foxboro after this year. Basically, they still need to draft two guards if they think Bryant's going to be the right tackle of the future.

I don't believe Pop is the man. I don't think he tracks deep balls well, and he has his hands out for 10 strides before the ball gets home. This is his third year in the league, so I don't expect any improvement from him. I hope we trade for a quality X Receiver by Tuesday.

I didn't know almost-losses count as losses.

They don't. Close but it's still almost-wins that count as losses. Dancin' Artie Blank should be able to confirm this

The have o-line and LB to get then too, honestly, that would be my priority before that, but I get what you're saying.

Have too look at the tape to see what's true or not. But they have nobody on Londons level or ability.

Having a person on London's level doesn't matter when Maye is:
1) over-throwing the ball
2) getting sacked because the O-line isn't blocking long enough
3) isn't seeing the open receiver such as Kyle Williams in the EZ when Drake decided to scramble to his left

Maye is having a very good year but the MVP hype is and has been ridiculous.

He still has not shown consistently that he can excel in clutch situations.
That will likely come
But MVP hype is so over the top

We were due for one of these games. Very hard to bring your “A” game every week, especially with a young team. But we got a little lucky and won - BFD - it’s a win. Bring the “A” game next week.

Our outside rush has been incredibly inconsistent, almost non existent in big moments.
If the opportunity presents itself, I would most certainly like to see an addition here.
Biggest need to me. Has been for weeks.

Btw, receivers were open. Maye missed them. Receivers weren't a big problem.
From the TV copy, it looked like there were check downs he stopped taking after Henderson got blown up in the 2nd drive. He hit him a couple of times in the first drive, and there was one in the 2nd half that caught Henderson turned around awkwardly, but that was it.

There was only one more drive in the game, I can def see them being cautious.

He was going through testing for a Concussion, as it turns out.

You don't be cautious with a player who had the wind knocked out of him. Not when the opposing team just marched down the field and almost tied it and the offense couldn't put a drive together when it was needed.
