This teams lacks offensive talent. We've all known that. They have gotten by with JUST enough. Without Boutte the straw breaks the camel's back.

With Boutte/Henry/Diggs it's enough to makeshift a decent front line rotation. Douglas/Hollins/Hopper support it.

Take any of those top 3 away they are in big trouble.

Humble Pie win.

First bad game since Pittsburgh, still beat a pretty good team.

Should have put the game away early, let them back in it.

Need to play 60 minutes.

If the Pats play like this against TB, they will lose.

Lots for Vrabel to work on, but still 7-2 and best record in the conference.
Tied for best OVERALL record ; but NOT IN CONF…. Dolts are 6-1 in conf. NE: 4-2

These are type of games Patriots haven’t won in a long time, to win a game where you play poorly in some areas like they did is a good sign.

They never showed the replay on TV, and I wasn’t in the GDT (thank goodness); was the pick with the miscommunication intended for Williams or someone else?

Edit - just saw it was Henry.

Wild game but good to somehow, someway, get a win.
I'm so glad we cut Romo and the Falcons signed him. That turned out to be the difference today.

Drake was having a great game until the huge fumble at the end of the 1st half and then the INT late.

He needs to learn to take care of the ball better.

I'd rather the 'lesson' be to do better while still winning.

Thankfully the gutsy 3rd down passing play call resulted in the 1st down to Henry that iced the win.

Great win and nice job of gutting out a tight game.

We are 7-2 now and I don't think anybody ever expected us to be in this position.

Even the Steelers want to do us a favor by beating the Colts. Who would have known we could be in contention for a top 2 seed and a 1st round bye in the playoffs?

Next week is a real tough test for our team though. Tampa Bay is really good this season and they will be well rested from their bye.

Good:

- We won. It's hard to win in the NFL, and good teams win even when playing badly. Look at Indy, GB today.
- 7-2.
- Stout run D.

Bad:

- Turnovers.
- Injuries.
- 2nd half letdown.

Falcons made great adjustments at the half it seemed. We had a hard time. Maye played great in the first half and then pretty rough in the second. Missed Boutte big time.

Losing Gonzo sucks, but the Falcons have a TOUGH cast, if that team had a decent QB they'd be scary. Those are extremely tall passing options and then Robinson is a freak.

Maye didn't seem to want to scramble a whole lot. I couldn't watch the game super closely but I feel like he really held onto that ball for awhile and stayed put. Did Falcons do a good job at sealing edges or something?

Very low penalty count, but some bad penalties at crucial moments.

Happy to see this team not completely fold. They clearly believe that they're always in it. You love to see it.

No, it was a terrible overthrow by Maye. Henry was wide open on the play.

Wasn't pretty 2nd half but a huge win, gotta be able to win when you don't play your best.

I'm concerned about being able to function without Boutte though, i think we need a WR, injuries are inevitable if Diggs or Douglas go down we're going to be unable to get anyone open.

Williams looks like he's playing DB he's always that tightly covered.
He was wide open on that one miss.
Maye obv thought Williams would break out to the sideline.
Probably on Williams, but he was wide open either way.

Great win when when playing pretty badly for over 2 quarters.

I hope they can find a pass rusher, wr or rb tomorrow n

I think it was Hunter Henry. Maye thought Henry was going to run the seam, but Hunter crossed the field. I think I remember that correctly.

The good - we won.

The bad - still need to see Maye make gane winning drives.

The ugly - I don't want to extend Gonzo

Turnover differential and Drake London were the issues there. The defense, other than not getting a turnover, were largely excellent. Maye needs to learn to get rid of the ball quicker. Great season but he takes too many sacks.

Outstanding day for Treveyon. He looks to have turned a corner.
