The fish are a classic example of a team that didn’t know where their “ window “ was. They went all in a couple of years before they could have been ready to go all in. It was like the people screaming for the Patriots to go after Myles Garrett, that’s a move you make when you are on the cusp, not building towards it. Vrabel understands that and said as much when asked if they were in on Parsons.
Dunno. Their window with Tua was always going to be a short one, so I don't blame them for going all in. But their choice of coach wasn't going to get it done. He's a genius OC who should not be leading men.

What is a Hendo? I am an adult and post like it. Either you are a jr high nerd who makes up names and snort giggles at his own creativity that no one else understands because its not even in basic English, or you have the onset of dementia and just assume everyone understands you. So again, what is a Hendo? Why does a poster mention a drug test in relation to your post?

Ehh is another form of Meh..

Hendu or Hendo is short for Henderson. It's specifically has been use with Dave Henderson and Rickey Henderson when they played for the Red Sox and Rickey when he was on the Padres.

Uptown wasn't making anything up and you do need to lighten up.

Did DaBruinz seriously just tell someone to lighten up?

Leading men? He looks like he'd have trouble leading an elementary school playground.

I mean, age. Diggs and Hollins won't play forever. I'm not saying you shouldn't keep Chism around and develop him, but at the same time, I don't understand the clamoring for him to get game snaps.

It’s because those who believe in him think he will give Maye an instant target against pressure, and we think he will be really productive. People can disagree with that, but it’s why we want him in the line up. I think he’s going to turn into their next Edelman.

You’re right my earlier posts didn’t cite evidence—but the games this year have. Well-coached teams don’t average 10+ penalties, don’t implode on special teams every week, and don’t have players constantly demanding trades or getting released. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a player on IR traded for a pick swap until now. They also don’t give up swing-pass touchdowns in a prevent defense with two minutes left—only saved because the runner stepped out by a third of a shoe.

Rather than telling me why my evidence is wrong, feel free to point out some actual examples of good coaching here.

Vrabel said he was the Penalty Nazi in Tennessee, but has changed his mind after seeing data that showed that it’s 50/50 when it comes to wins. What matters more is when they happen. You could get 4 offensive penalties on one drive and not get hurt by it, or have one pass interference with 2 minutes to go that costs you the game.

As far as coaching goes it’s 2 games with a team that’s never played together before. The teeth gnashing and crying over this **** is ridiculous. It takes time for teams to develop cohesion, it doesn’t happen instantly, and those who can’t handle that should just go watch baseball instead.

You know who else is an instant target against pressure? Everyone who's open every time he drops back.

Edelman was a) drafted and b) made the 53 coming out of camp in 09. That was WITH Wes Welker already on the roster.

Chism ain't him, not yet.

I didn’t say he was Edelman already, I said I think he will be their next Edelman, and I have been saying that since May. Most here laughed at the idea that he would even make the 53.

They hadn’t won a playoff game yet. They needed to be a contender before making moves to put them over the top. Instead they invested heavily and gave up valuable picks before they were ready seriously contend. So they ended up falling way short of the mark, and now are looking at a rebuild, and already started getting rid of those high priced players they thought were going to take them over the top.

Oh good I thought it was just me. I was thinking interception on that play too and somehow Hill adjusted and our 2 defenders just looked lost. If either of them played the ball they probably prevent a catch maybe even get a pick.

That's on the safety since he's the one watching the ball to start with. HE should have had the ball more than Austin, though Austin should have turned his head as well.

Don’t know if this has already been posted but Maye went 7-8, 133 yards, 2 TD’s and 0 int’s with a perfect 158.3 QB rating when throwing past the first down markers against the fish. That’s as good a sign that he’s getting it as it gets.
