Game Day Thread Official Post Game Thread- Raiders beat the Pats

THIS IS OUR LIVE GAME DAY THREAD:

This is where we gather to follow things on Game Day. Obviously, emotions tend to be high so if anyone gets a little crazy, the use of the “Mute” button is encouraged on anyone who may be annoying to you to control your experience and to allow the moderators to also enjoy the game.

At the same time, please take a deep breath before over-reacting for the sake of making this a pleasant experience for everyone.

Lastly, we have never allowed promoting the use of any illegal streaming. This is illegal and will be enforced by copyright holders, which puts this site at risk. DO NOT POST ANY LINKS to those platforms.

This also means, there absolutely cannot be any mention these platforms, spaces, special characters, etc. - so do not get creative in trying to work around this request.

If you do you will have your account suspended.

I do not have the means to deal with legal issues and have already been contacted previously, so this absolutely needs to be adhered to. If you see any illegal links, please report them so a mod can remove them.

I'm being sarcastic, relax it's not that serious.. anyways do u realistically see another win?
Think about what you said.. TOM BRADY... does anyone on this team resemble anything TB every did or tried to do..

I think shes talking about the TD review that went to Goodells office in ny which is run by former jest managment.
You are correct... In the end the offense score one TD... One TD... It's game after game of nothing

Not to mention the refs holding the ball so McDaniels could challenge.
Yeah, Belichick was pissed about that. But some of us are thinking the fix was in.

Historically, Patriots players have been benched for fumbles.
What do you do with Jacobi? Banishment to Siberia?
Yes. Let that be the last play on his contract year highlights film.

What a weird argument you're making.

I think stupid play reflects on the coaching. Odd you don't.
What do you want the coaches to do to prevent a play like that?

By the way, Jakobi is normally our headiest player out there.

Ok. Mac tackles Chandler Jones and the game goes to overtime. What don't you understand?
The fact that you and a few others are looking at that play and calling out the QB for not making an open field tackle on a defensive supertstwr athletic freak player and not everything else that transpired before that just shows your agenda

Just more piling on from the anti mac cheerleaders.. cheering for mac to do bad so they can “prove” they’re “right” about zappe

That was a tremendously stupid play by Meyers, but the bagjob by the NY review room is the only thing that matters here.

We show up to an officiated competition expecting the rules to be followed and enforced fairly. When a fundamental lack of trust is gone, and there is clear and obvious evidence of corruption and game-fixing, you can't play the game.

I can live with my team sucking. I can live with my team doing stupid things. I cannot live with a competition where rules are being violated and corrupted by those in charge of enforcing said rules ... because then there are no rules.

I will need to seriously think about if I will watch future games. We have crystal-clear, 100% ironclad evidence that someone in the NY review room has it out for the Pats. Why bother watching if that's the case? It's not a fair competition; it's fixed.

Henry catch ruled TD on field. Overturned on review.
Agholor ruled catch on field - obvious evidence that foot was OOB on review - overturned by expedited review.
In an identical play to the Agholor one, Cole ruled catch on field - obvious evidence that foot was OOB on review - play stands after extended review.

If the Henry review was the smoke, the Cole review was the fire. The NFL is fixing games.
It’s hard to disagree. The NFL should be ashamed, so should some other people,

I'm not criticizing your post. It would actually be the smartest route at this point. I'm talking about how far the Pats have fallen.
Oh pal not a problem, it's been a painful season.. on offense I feel like aside from Rham everyone else is expendable..

THE WHOLE GODDAMN TEAM NEEDS TO BE FIRED!
There is no question there will be significant changes this offseason.

All we can do now is enjoy the holidays and see what happens come January thru March.

What do you want the coaches to do to prevent a play like that?

Score more points in the game? The great defense might stop the last drive,?

The silver lining, if we lose out…. It increases the odds that Marty P, will be set free.

We are onto 2023

If you are going to blame that play on a 217lb Mac Jones for not tackling a 260lb DE and not Jakobi Meyers for throwing the ball right to Chandler Jones, you are clearly a biased Mac Jones hater.
It was just another opportunity where Mac came up short. Is he a football player or not? Punters make tackles. Mac is over 6 feet tall. Odds aren't in his favor but he still failed miserably.

now i actually fear this was a playcall ?????/

Of course it was. No way players would go that haywire on their own (well, except maybe Brandon Cook.)
