What I noticed and loved about this game was the palpable belief you could see from the players in their coaches. Only mistakes will hold them back.
This is huge. Now they trust and believe in their coaches, so they can focus on executing their individual parts of the overall team plan. If they keep getting better at that they’ll have more success, and that just feeds on itself. Thursday night will be the next step.

Well, they should beat the Falcons (who got demolished today) and they finish up with the Jets, Jaguars and Dolphins. The schedule would give them a better than even shot at 11 wins, I'd say. The Titans and the Bills games will be rock fights.
Today’s game was predicted to be a rock fight.

Based on today’s game I like their chances in those rock fights.

I really want to see them sweep the Bills and clinch the AFCE championship, just for the psychological damage it will inflict on the rest of the division (especially the upstart Bills).

The Patriots Defense is #2 in the NFL in opponent's passer rating at 79.1 and #1 in Interceptions.

I could see us losing both Titans and @Bills.
But, those should be the only losses if everything remains as is. I think we'll be right there with the Bills in both games.
But, we could end up 11-6, and if injuries and lucky bounces go our way, even 12-5.
If we end up hosting a home playoff game, that would be an incredible feat, and finally silence the BB haters that said the dynasty was ONLY and ALL Brady.

The Bills have the #1 defense in the NFL, and they are much better coached. Mike Vrabel owns Bill Belichick for some reason.

What an exciting, dominant, great team win. Even N'Keal Harry did something to help the team win. So many positives...here are a few:

1. Hunter Henry. He's proven to me that he is the guy that I would go to in a big spot.
2. Dugger. I've liked him since the moment I saw him play. The sky is the limit for this kid. Very tough, feisty, Belichick type player.
3. Barmore. This guy has the potential to be a Richard Seymour type impact player.
4. Judon. Very consistent, reliable player.
5. Stephenson. He looks to me to be the most talented running back that we have, including Harris.
6. Bourne. Reminds me a little of Jo Jo Lafell.
7. Josh McDaniels. When his offense is clicking, boy is it fun to watch.

Huge win, this makes them 5-1 in the AFC, and conference record is the second tiebreaker, head to head is first, so they are in great shape if it comes down to WC tiebreakers. Love this team, smart, tough, and physical all day. These are convincing wins.

Several teams that needed a QB, passed on Mac. I remember holding my breath during that draft. Carolina & Denver passing on a QB was a little surprising to me, and then I thought a team like Washington or New Orleans might trade up ahead of the Pats to grab a QB.

After the Jets traded up to #14, I felt a little relieved, but was still on edge after years of bad Pat’s draft choices. I literally screamed when the selected him at #15. Happiest I’ve ever been with a Pat’s draft pick.
I’ve never bothered to watch the first round of the draft. This one I did, praying Mac would fall or we’d go up and get him. So happy that QB is taken care of for the foreseeable future.

the titans basically ran at will on us in the last two games... 150 & 200+ yards iirc...

They are finished with the Jets. They finish up with: Atlanta, Tennessee, Buffalo, Bye, Colts, Bills, Jaguars, Dolphins. Last 2 games will possibly be a fight for playoff position, while the Jaguars & Dolphins try to play spoiler.

Tennessee, Buffalo, Colts & Buffalo is truly a killer 4 game stretch. Hoping for a split. Hoping the Pats go 5-2 their last 7 (Obviously hoping 7-0, but can’t see that happening).

Why do certain posters always disappear when the pats win. They were all over these threads in the beginning of the season gloating how they were right pointing out why the patriots were not good

are they really so chicken sh it fake fans that they can’t give credit to the team ever . They must be miserable people

Despite this they still should have beaten the Titans in the 2019 playoffs. It was 14-13 at halftime and the Titans' offense put up 0 points the entire second half, yet the offense couldn't even manage a FG. Such a shame that the Brady era ended on an offensive stinker like that.

Will be interesting to see if they can stop the Titans' running game this time around without Henry running the ball.

Great win. Can’t underestimate the importance Trent Brown makes for that OL.

Also, I think Barmore is our 2nd best defensive player after Judon. He is a game changer on that line.
