Nothing today really changes anything. Poor OL play. Drops by receivers. Atrocious TE play. QB wasn't good..again. Pats shouldn't be more than a 3 point favorite over Buffalo.

I have a ? for you, why are you always so negative ? If you hate the Patriots so much please go back to the team you really love, the Ravens. I am a little tired of the negative spin on everything.

It’s really about health, unless you think Brady has fallen off the cliff and Mason decided to suck this year (Cannon too, although I’m thinking maybe he has just genuinely declined.)

The game was OVER. It's the ALL TIME TD RECORD. He may not get another shot at tying it with the Bills next week. There's nothing wrong with wanting your QB of the last 20 years to tie that record in opponent territory up 17. THEY HAD ALREADY WON so don't give me crap about 'playing to 'win games'. It was bonus at that time. This has nothing to do with anything else or being upset about winning, it has to do with a cool record. He could of thrown a Pick 6 and the game was still over. What do you not understand? Which part? You grumpy ass.

Again, who gives a **** about a record that will not last a week. What is important is keep working on things that might actually affect your season down the line.. like lets say your run game.

The fact you keep saying this game was won just shows how you are not looking at the big picture.

They only get one padded practice a week and you certainly don't go full speed in that. So any series they get in a game where the team can have additional live action running reps is more important than that meaningless record.

This team has never played for personal records and fortunately will not do that. You are watching the wrong team if this is important to you.

Not necessarily, Black Cloud. The Patriots can play offense like they did today and still beat Buffalo without benefit of turnovers if the defense contains the Bills offense as should be expected. The Pats had 175 yards rushing complemented by 128 passing and did not turn the ball over themselves. That's good enough to win a rock fight vs. Buffalo.
The Patriots beat buffalo by 6 in week 3. Buffalo turned it over FOUR TIMES. Frank Gore ran roughshod over the Patriots. That Pats team still had Josh Gordon. This Buffalo team is playing BETTER than THAT buffalo club from week 4.
I hope Buffalo turns it over like crazy again. But Allen and Buffalo have done a fantastic job taking care of the ball - only 3 turnovers last EIGHT games...

Great win. Defense was once again incredible forcing multiple turnovers and scoring a touchdown. Offense is a complimentary unit at this point and they did what was needed in a game like this. Surprises me how so many people appear to be miserable watching this 11-3 team. We all know they are not a great offensive team and they need to win with defense and special teams so when that happens I am not sure how so many "fan" remain upset.

Of course it's not the most important thing. Why does it have to be all about the most important thing? You are talking in circles. If you don't care about that record that's fine, but there's nothing wrong for going for it in that situation. Your higher than mighty talk is annoying.

That said I'm sure Brady agrees with you and that's what has made him great all these years. Rest assured Brees will be throwing if it comes down to the same thing.

I didn't call the season. Chargers & Chiefs were better than the Pats last year. Pats beat both. The 01 Rams were better than the Pats. The 07 Pats were better than the Giants. You get the point. There's always a chance this team shocks the world. Wins give straight. But most would be betting with their heart. Not their heads.
Heart usually goes in the Pats column. 60 minutes and conditioning has made them better than the teams better than them many times

Dorsett and Meyers were targeted zero times. They are on Brady's **** list and I'm sure Sanu is next.

We'd be much better off with AB/Edelman/Harry.
Sanu shouldn't be, he was wide open for a TD and Brady missed him.

Wow, sad when the game day thread enters the post game thread.

Wish Ian would just close this place down for a week.

Negative Nancies and Antonio Brown every where you look here.

OL has gotta make a dramatic improvement soon, what team in recent history has won a Super Bowl with a poor OL? It really doesn’t happen.

Your higher than mighty talk is annoying.

What is annoying is your cluelessness why running the ball in this situation -- apart from ball security concerns and milking the clock - was the right decision for the game as well as for the rest of this season.

That said I'm sure Brady agrees with you and that's what has made him great all these years. Rest assured Brees will be throwing if it comes down to the same thing.

So what ? Odds are Brees will end up with it anyway. Whether it is this week or next makes no difference at all.

Can you please stop with this logical post? Your upsetting many on here who need something to be worried and concerned over!

Brady is declining.

His arm looks tired or he is injured. At the game. Guys were open but did not get the ball. Brady throwing high and low all game.

Yep. The X factor that may decide the season

I get what you are saying but to me the x-factor will be whether the OL can elevate their play when it matters similar to how previous units could. If they can't get Brady to feel comfortable in the pocket the margin for error will be razor thin.

That would be incredibly silly. So close the site and punish the good posters? The “ignore” feature is there for a reason.
