Game Day Thread Official Post Game Thread- Bucs beat the Pats

THIS IS OUR LIVE GAME DAY THREAD:

This is where we gather to follow things on Game Day. Obviously, emotions tend to be high so if anyone gets a little crazy, the use of the “Mute” button is encouraged on anyone who may be annoying to you to control your experience and to allow the moderators to also enjoy the game.

At the same time, please take a deep breath before over-reacting for the sake of making this a pleasant experience for everyone.

Lastly, we have never allowed promoting the use of any illegal streaming. This is illegal and will be enforced by copyright holders, which puts this site at risk. DO NOT POST ANY LINKS to those platforms.

This also means, there absolutely cannot be any mention these platforms, spaces, special characters, etc. - so do not get creative in trying to work around this request.

If you do you will have your account suspended.

I do not have the means to deal with legal issues and have already been contacted previously, so this absolutely needs to be adhered to. If you see any illegal links, please report them so a mod can remove them.

Zo and Beetle are spending the show today going “yes the Pats lost the game but Bill won the week and the night.” ************ the team is 1-3 and all 3 losses are at home. And the Pats offense scored fewer points against the Bucs than anyone else so far this season. Is this where we’re at? Is this the post Brady world, the bargaining phase every Monday?

You would probably see some version of the Pats offense in 2019...

More interested in what Jones would do with the Bucs' offense actually. Like to see him perform with a line that would protect him and receivers who consistently get open.

Lmfao…trying to act like a superior fan because you were in the low-brow, knee-jerk game day thread while someone else watched the game with family/friends.
Not only that but he's wrong as always. I was in the GDT but it was slooow AF.

Then there's this. LMAO

No, I don't think it's just me. Go to the Bucs forum and see how pissed they are about the way the game played out.
Hypocrite

Brady seemed to lose faith in one receiver after another.

Tyler Johnson was open early, and the broadcasters said Brady overthrew him, but it was clearly a communication problem. Brady thought he was still running and Johnson broke off the route. Brady didn’t target him again.

Mike Evans was targeted often early, but after dropping that red zone slant (possible TD), the connection fizzled out. This guy is a real paradox. Doesn’t seem to be reliable in critical situations.

Cam Brate and Brady were just way off. It seemed like he was running Gronk’s routes but lacked the height and athleticism to be in the right place. He dropped an easy one in the third quarter, too. Lack of trust there again.

Belichick took away Godwin, which was the right call.

Brady’s big opportunity was AB, but they missed three fairly routine touchdown connections and had a 50 yard pass called back. He was there, open, and would have changed the game if those two were on.

Brady played tight and “not to lose.” The Peter King article today highlighted this. From the perspective of “not having a big ego,” Brady didn’t have one, as he didn’t want to throw the game away with a hero throw. But overall, he was too timid. Bucs should have scored a lot more. He was very lucky to come away with the win.

Gotta love the Bradyites trying to downplay Jones saying he was going against a practice squad defense when they been saying for the last few weeks Brady with basically All-Pros (compared to what Mac has) Evans, Godwin and Brown was gonna shred this defense.

why Zo and Beetle trigger you is a better point......I can't wait to hear what Felger and Mazz think

I think saying it is a win is over the top, but you do have to be encouraged with the progression of this team and the fact that they lost a 19-17 game when a lot or most people were predicting a 38-6 type blowout. Unfortunately, barring a incredible leap in production, this team at most is contending for a wild card spot and an early exit from the playoffs. So this year is a lot about seeing progress with a lot of the players especially Mac Jones.

Let's face it though. Sports talk radio these days are more about the hot takes than the in depth analysis.

you'd think now that last nights game was over and given how the game was played, that people could move on with their lives.....people long to b!tch about anything unless they get to watch a duckboat parade

Tom Brady is gone......there is no Tom Brady

Coming into last night's game, the Bucs D was letting up an average of 26 points a game. And they were hurt worse in the secondary last night with the loss of another CB and their safety. We have to start finishing our drives with TDs.
We did much better in that department going 2-3 in the RZ. Much improved. Going 22% in 3rd down efficiency killed several drives.

Both are true. Mac did shred a JV secondary. Our secondary played lights outs vs the best scoring offense in the NFL.

Felger and Mazz are gonna make fun of Pats fans as usual so I don’t get your point.

ok...the point is that you are reacting to idiots.....don't react to idiots and you'll be fine

We lost

you spend 99% of your time in the off topic forum *****ing about politics. pot meet kettle

In the last 50 years, the only teams to run for negative yards in a game are the 2021 mcD Pats offense , and a couple really pathetic Detroit Lions teams.
