One other thing that made me smile: Our CBs lining up a the line of scrimmage, bumping and generally trying to cover the receivers without giving up a 10 yard cushion (unless the situation warranted it...like 3 and 26/31).

Hard not to get excited about the potential, but we'll have to see what happens when people game plan for us. Still, Freeman is a good QB and many times he wouldn't have been able to count to 4 before he'd be forced to throw or run.

Glad someone else noticed this. In all the excitement about the pass rush and offensive scoring I forgot how surprised I was seeing the DBs line up close and make contact with the wideouts. Before we get too excited about anything we've got to remember that pre-season exists to try out schemes and assignments to see how well they work out.

Terrific performance as long as "regulars" where on the field but one thing comes to mind, is the secondary really gonna hold this season ?

We already have question marks for Merriweather but we need atleast Bodden play ir Ras because I get so nervous every time I see Arrington giving his WR 10 yards space.

Since I am quite new on this, I havent seen Bodden play but my prayers are on his return or Ras getting healthy quick.

Dont get me wrong, DL was amazing and offense looked good but linebacker pass covering and DBs.. not so much.
