This is where we gather to follow things on Game Day. Obviously, emotions tend to be high so if anyone gets a little crazy, the use of the “Mute” button is encouraged on anyone who may be annoying to you to control your experience and to allow the moderators to also enjoy the game.
At the same time, please take a deep breath before over-reacting for the sake of making this a pleasant experience for everyone.
Lastly, we have never allowed promoting the use of any illegal streaming. This is illegal and will be enforced by copyright holders, which puts this site at risk. DO NOT POST ANY LINKS to those platforms.
This also means, there absolutely cannot be any mention these platforms, spaces, special characters, etc. - so do not get creative in trying to work around this request.
If you do you will have your account suspended.
I do not have the means to deal with legal issues and have already been contacted previously, so this absolutely needs to be adhered to. If you see any illegal links, please report them so a mod can remove them.
We've got to be living in a simulation if someone not only fails to detect Volin's sarcasm, but then replies to his (very obviously sarcastic tweet) completely sincerely, without batting an eye.

Anybody who misses the sarcasm in a suggestion that players on the field for the end of the first preseason game are likely to be cut really shouldn’t be posting.
jk, I know it was such a tough loss that it’s tough to think clearly.

And the unfortunate truth is that someone unsarcastically b*tching about losing a preseason game and ripping into the players on the field at the end of said game, is completely within the scope of normal on this forum recently.
Aside from AB, it was bad. They should’ve moved on from Gordon after he quit on them in 2018. Signing Ellington and that mini camp hero (I can’t remember his name) was ridiculously bad. You have a dire need at WR with the most hyped up WR class in years, but only take one WR. Trading Thomas was idiotic. Trading for Sanu and the use of him was amateur hour. These moves would be laughed at on this board if it were any other contending team.
You criticized BB for lack of effort at the position, but as I noted plenty of effort was made and things just didn't work out. It wasn't for lack of trying. Harry busted, AB imploded. Thomas got hurt and didn't have time to acclimate to the system (he would've started the season on IR). Sanu wasn't a good fit either but still had plenty of catches then got hurt. Including Edelman's 100, Jakobi Meyers and adding James White's contributions out of the backfield there were competent receiving threats through the season. If you want to place blame somewhere, the tight end situation that year was abysmal.

100%. It's probably fair to say the Patriots/BB had blind-spots when it came to WR talent evaluation over the past 5-10 years, but they sure tried to find good WRs, it wasn't for a lack of trying.
Hopefully Thornton is the first step in an improved talent evaluation process.

I enjoyed Thornton's deadpan delivery of the company line during tonight's press conference. Although, when asked about wearing No. 11 he didn't seem to know about Drew Bledsoe.

To me Roberts looked a lot stouter than Ray. Ray looked more disruptive, but got pushed back too many times for my liking. I prefer steady and strong to flashy but vulnerable.
Roberts needs some more technique as he was sandwiched on his penalty when he let the OL man get into his chest, but he held up well a few times with pure power. Assuming the kid can learn the hand fighting, I prefer Roberts after that game.
