Just kidding Ian. Tee hee!

But I didn't see a thread for this and I wanted to talk about how crummy the end of my 2025 was and how wonderful it was to wake up this morning and read a text from my brother saying Ohio State **** the bed.

Go blue!

Check out this pick 6 tho, I don't think the guy could have done better if he'd been in the O's huddle before the play.

Three weeks between games inevitably creates rust and poor performances.
We've seen that so many times over the years in college football.

I would have preferred to see this round being played last week, but either the NCAA did not want to go head-to-head with the NFL, or the networks dictated the schedule to fit their whims/maximize profits.

That pick-six was a huge swing. Miami was the better team last night, more physical.

More discussion in the Draft Forum:

Season two of the 12 team playoff, so far teams with a buy are 0-5. See how the three today play out.

Im a Mendoza fan.

I hope that Indiana wins the whole enchilada.

When the bracket was announced I picked UGA but what a story it would be if Indiana won the whole thing.

Nope, sorry boys. My Wolverines are going to be let back in and win it all!

Not sure how high Texas Tech edge rusher David Bailey is projected to go, but he’d be a welcome addition, granted he fits Vrabel’s/Williams’ scheme.

Pros:
- Pure pass rusher
- Natural disruptor ( 7 career FFs)
- Rare Athleticism/Speed
- Explosive first step
- Loves football
- High motor
- Finisher
- Coverage
- Violent hands/Long arms
- Diverse bag of pass rush counters

Cons:
- Needs technique refinement
- Over pursues in gap containment
- Run defense needs improvement
- Lean frame

This isa big matchup.
Both Mendoza and Simpson could go high first.
Obv Mendoza is rated higher, but this game could tell us something.

I used to be such a big college football fan, didn’t get into it until I moved down South and was taken to Knoxville and got to witness the Peyton Manning era. Was amazing.
Fast forward to now…Coaches leaving playoff teams BEFORE the playoffs, Players holding out for money BEFORE playoff games, and players transferring BEFORE playoff games.

It’s a really bad turnoff until they fix those issues.

Mendoza looks like he might actually be a player. Hopefully the Raiders don't **** him up. I also really like Cignetti

Schools have post-semester “reading periods”followed by Finals Exams” week in mid December

Bama is dunsky.

Will ‘Bama get to play Ohio State in the consolation round?

Or is the Laughingstock Bowl just a figment of my imagination?

If we are doing that, then I’d like to add “hook ‘em Horns” to the conversation.
