The offense will get it going. Not really worried about Brady. Even with just 3 WRs to work with. It's the defense that's so unbelievably frustrating and awful.

Yes, they suck in an objective sense, but they're also mentally soft. Bad. Really bad.

Pats are sucking early as they have in the past occasionally ... but it feels different this season.

I am really worried about this team. I mean legitimately worried. We had slow season starts, but this is something else. All 3 phases of the team are bellow average, with D#, a bottom 5 unit.
Not good.

That may ultimately end up being true but there's no reason to believe as much right now.

Things should improve with the return of Edelman and Gordon's acclimation, but it may be too late by then. And there's no reason to believe the defense will improve. They're slow, soft, and seemingly poorly coached.

BB wants a 1rst rd/top 10 quarterback in next years draft to replace Brady.

At this point, they are just playing for paychecks and nothing extra. Not seen a BB team come out like this. I was expecting the first game to be like this after the Superbowl. Oh well.. still early but how is this D fixable? It is so easy for other QBs.

The scheme is outdated and the talent level is poor due to stolen draft picks and bad selections hamstringing the team.
