I hate those kinds of posts too but it just kinda feels apparent when you look at him and tie it in with some of the recent stories about him kind of wanting out from people who generally are just saying what the agents are telling them. I dunno. It feels bad.
If he wants out, it's time to let him go. The Patriots have been good so long because of Brady and a few elite players (along with brilliant coaching) masking their depletion of talent. With him on the wane, this team is headed towards mediocrity. Brady can't seem to wrap his mind around the fact things ebb and flow; rather than growing patient with age, he seems to be transforming more into a curmudgeon.
If they go on to lose today, which is likely, they'll have gone 0-3 against the division leaders and by a wide margin. We need an infusion of talent and Brady -- even not at his best -- won't allow this team to go 5-11 and get some quality picks.
I love Brady, but if he wants out because he can't accept his own mistakes, then it is time for him to move on with all the respect in the world intended with this sentiment.
