Enjoying this season are you? Don't think it would've helped to have a more mobile QB option even if Mac started? Don't think it's predictable to have a QB who can't move?

The part about Cam Newton being able to do anything better than Mac has. The play calling would have been different, but just as predictable. Teams did nothing but stack the box against us last year too because Cam wouldn’t throw deep consistently. We gain nothing from Cam being out there. At least now we can see if Mac has it, and move on quickly if he doesn’t or progress quickly if he does.
Mac having a big boy drive. I forget who said it, but when you're down a lot, you don't think about winning. You think about having one good drive. Then you have another, then you worry about winning.

Well the point was to have both, so when Mac is struggling like he has been today you can switch it up and play more run game. It would certainly give their defence more to worry about than 3 yard passes n checkdowns.
