I agree. That SHOULD have been the plan. Period. With all the opt outs, you get your D work but still lose games. Get Lawrence and boom you take off. Those fans who say they wouldn't take the best consensus QB since Luck and "suffer" through a season that doesn't matter anyways, are lying to themselves. Now best case scenario is tank for a game changer at the top of the draft IF they lose this one.
Drops by the Denver receivers are the only reason we are still in this game. They’ve dropped 3 TDs. Very hard start by Dugger, in particular. He’s getting picked on a bit.
Lock is slinging it. Glad he’s only deadly between the 20s, eventually with enough RZ trips those will turn into TDs. Sucks we’re losing bodies along the lines.

I'm all for tanking in theory, but it's far to late for that. We would have needed to dismantle the team in the offenses to get the maximum value draft picks. Didn't happen. They may as well try to win as much as they can. So cheer for them. The game isn't over, they still have a good chance to win.
