This is where we gather to follow things on Game Day. Obviously, emotions tend to be high so if anyone gets a little crazy, the use of the “Mute” button is encouraged on anyone who may be annoying to you to control your experience and to allow the moderators to also enjoy the game.
At the same time, please take a deep breath before over-reacting for the sake of making this a pleasant experience for everyone.
Lastly, we have never allowed promoting the use of any illegal streaming. This is illegal and will be enforced by copyright holders, which puts this site at risk. DO NOT POST ANY LINKS to those platforms.
This also means, there absolutely cannot be any mention these platforms, spaces, special characters, etc. - so do not get creative in trying to work around this request.
If you do you will have your account suspended.
I do not have the means to deal with legal issues and have already been contacted previously, so this absolutely needs to be adhered to. If you see any illegal links, please report them so a mod can remove them.
Fans should be able to express their point of view, and even vent a bit, when the team is playing so poorly, without being labeled trolls. Criticism where criticism is due.
Most people here are smart enough to know the difference between trolling and legit criticism. For an example of the former see one "kennyb," a Jete troll masquerading as a Patriots fan with all sorts of negative B.S. How he maintains membership here is an open question.
The moderators do a good job policing and deserve a wide berth when the crap flies like today. Their work is thankless, time consuming and should be appreciated.
You know this was a total lie by a Jets reporter, right?
Because Shanahan and John Lynch went into great depths and detail to tell the story about Belichick laughing at them when they asked for Brady. He absolutely refused to trade Brady, and in that
They do? Many of those posters are still her after a win. Most people consider @captain stone a troll and he comes after losses. The homers were always going to be the first to go. Especially the biggest ones. They don’t want to see flaws in the team because a flaw in the team means there’s probably no chance at a title… which is the only reason they root for the team. Simple psychology.
I do have to back Ashley up on this one, there are some posters who only post negatively and then stop posting when the team improves, then return when things backslide. Last week was a good example, where the Patriots started off poorly against Vegas. There was a lot of posting that some may consider "trolling" or at least just trashing the team, but many of those posters slowly just disappeared and stopped posting once the Patriots got back into it and later took the lead. But then once they screwed the pooch with the lateral failure, many of them immediately re-appeared again to trounce. I called out one such poster in last week's game day thread, who ceased posting for a couple hours but posted immediately as the failed lateral occurred to bash Belichick. It certainly does exist and happen. It's not one-sided though, of course. You also have posters who only want to post positivity and don't show up when things are going poorly.
I will disagree with this, They have decent talent. just no attitude ,fire or leadership. and of course playcalling has killed them. its the same offensive group from last yr. its easy to say just talent whenthey are playing the worst. its just shame on the players themselves they are putting this effort out there.
