Zappe is the only thing that could maybe provide a spark. If you don’t try it you have conceded the game and season like cowards.

Zappe in the second. Try to light a spark. Do SOMETHING.

You’re right let’s banish zappe from ever stepping on the field again and continue giving Mac as much time as he needs.
huh? I’m the biggest anti-Jones, pro-Zappe guy on here. I’m saying Zappe should have started against the Bears and the fact the he didn’t is ridiculous.

at least the Bills are losing

If Bill was interested in winning he would have start Zappe a long time ago

Misread your post. It’s been Edited. Apologies.

Probably going to see Jones start the second half, but if they sputter and the Bengals score, I think he'll make the change.

I feel like Mac is getting more mentally broken with every 3 and out. Might as well put in Zappe at this point.

On the flip side we would be throwing Zappe to the wolves.
I am just at the point that I don’t want Bill back.
I was very wrong we should have kept Tom over Bill.
I was on record to say it was Bill.
But knowing the grass and what the kicker eats for breakfast means nothing when you don’t have a QB.

You think he wants mediocre players?

It's more like the investments haven't panned out, or haven't panned out yet (i.e. Tyquan, Mac Jones, TE FAs). I'm we'd all be thrilled with a 1st round QB that was a hit, a great WR and TE production. But you think Belichick wouldn't be?
Honestly, no.

Part of his M.O is that he's a genius who knows enough about the game and has the optimal scheme to win with any plug-n-play player.

This man wanted to trade Brady after his finest performance and one the best seasons of his career

Thank God he didn't, given they still made 2 superbowls (and would have won 3 in a row if he didn't bench Butler)

I said it upthread but it definitely feels like we are playing for draft position. Players checked out, coaches not making any adjustments.
